New research from a price comparison website has revealed that millions of Brits are hiding their unused credit cards as a financial safety net.
A spokesperson from the website stated that the "financial turbulence" has left 16 million Brits stashing away their credit cards- something they "consider to be a financial lifeline."
However, the spokesperson warned that "there are several issues to consider as credit checks are influenced by the amount of credit available to spend.
So in effect, this lifeline could become a financial bottle neck to the next best deal."
