£1million compensation for man who falls into skip

A man is expected to win over £1 million in compensation for suffering from brain injuries after falling into a skip.

The man, 57, had been working for a window firm when the accident occured in 2004.

As a result of the incident, he suffered from brain damage which left a significant change in his personality as he now suffers from verbal aggression, memory loss, reduced concentration and low tolerance.

He also requires care due to his personal injuries and has found a suitable home to live in. He is also unable to continue working.

A no win no fee claim was filed and the man's employers have admitted liability.

The judge ruled that the man is to be compensated for the loss of future earnings, changes of accommodation and his degree of care.

The amount is expected to total over £1 million.
