Council compensates pensioner after fall

Injury lawyers have helped a pensioner win a substantial sum in compensation for suffering serious facial injuries after she tripped on a raised paving slab.
The 75 year old woman filed a public liability claim against her council as a result of smashing her jaw against the council as a result of the fall.
The impact of the fall left her with a broken detal bridge and chipped teeth.
Although the accident occured two years ago, the woman is still receiving medical treatment for her injuries.
The council admitted liability and awarded the woman with an undisclosed yet substantial sum in compensation.
