Calling all motorists who want to reduce costs!

Motorists should watch what they eat if they are looking to reduce the number of accident claims made on their car or van insurance.

According to research by a Danish lifestyle consultant, drivers who keep a healthy diet are more vigilant on the roads and would therefore be less likely to be involved in a road accident.

Figures from the study found that the healthy drivers had faster stopping time with an average of 16 per cent more than those who were not so healthy.

As a result, it would be less likely for healthy motorists to have the need to file a claim under their car insurance.
