I'm Michele Martin

I've been blogging for over a year now at The Bamboo Project. Through that experience, as well as the 31 Days to Building a Better Blog Challenge, I've come to believe that blogging holds so much potential for learning and connecting to other people. It's an area that I want to explore further.

Here are my blog posts from the 31 Days to Building a Better Blog project.

Besides my blog, you can also find me at the Web 2.0 in Nonprofits wiki, where I'm collecting resources for nonprofits and other organizations on using blogs, wikis, social networks, podcasts, etc.

My latest project is Beyond the Glass Ceiling, a social network and blog to support women's career and professional development.

Results of 31 Days to Building a Better Blog--Growth in Community

Wrote today on The Bamboo Project about the growth in community that came from the 31 Days project. What was most striking to me in all of this was the extent to which I began to feel more connected to other people as a community. Weekly Challenge 1--My Goals for Getting Reorganized

Although I managed to make it through most of the 31 Days of activities, I know I still have a few I wanted to go back through. So the goals I've set for myself this month are to:

Finish my mission

Re-do my SWOT in light of my mission

Analyze my "competition" (easier once I have a mission)

Do at least one more Sneeze page, although I still need to decide on what.

Thalia, from your group of friends, made some comments on my blog and I made the changes she recommended. The change of the name was a recommendation too.
