PeaK-ICT is the acronym we use as a cluster that stands for Partnerships that Empower and Actively involve all Kawerau learners utilising ICT. Our vision 'in a nutshell' is to upskill, empower and inspire stakeholders that include students, teachers, Principals, families and the wider communities ie: organisations like Senior Net, Computers in Homes, World Vision etc. The Ministry contract runs for three years and I will spend 2 days facilitating e-learning in my base school that has 400 students and 18 teachers. The other 2 days will be spent with the other 4 smaller schools and I will take half a day on Fridays in-office working from home. That's the plan and I am very excited about it all!
