This is just a spot for the members of the current challenge group to post reflections and challenges faced while completing the challenge. Perhaps challenge-veterans can respond to our pleas for help here!

I'm so glad you said that, Andy because I was feeling a bit worried about it because I see am a spontaneous blogger. But I do find it interesting that Darren Rouse says he found that planning his blog posts helped him manage his time a lot more successfully.

I am a member of a number of forums both for midwifery and education. I lurk for a while and then make up my mind if i want to stay or not. on the whole, it has been very beneficial. Sarah

Well I would strongly recommend twitter as many now use it as forum - except the help is often instantaneous. And whether we like it or not, there are many people in twitter now that only access blog posts through links in twitter not by using Feed Readers. Please note as a twitter-aholic -- I'm not suggesting you use Twitter for just posting links to your blog -- very easy to see through that strategy.

Hi Danielle, and thanks a lot for your 'notes of interest' about my blog by the way, most helpful.

I decided to adopt a policy of posting more to forms just before the 31day challenge came along, so I've been thinking about it a fair bit. So I started writing some suggestions to reply here, but then I got carried away and turned it into a fully fledged list of ten top tips which I'm just about to finish off as a blog post. (Link or copy to come later). Thanks for Cre8Buzz too, that's quite a nice general one with a choice of topics, isn't it.

Hmm, well it turned out a bit lengthy :

10 tips for bloggers taking part in forums

I thought some of my advice might be a bit controversial but nobody's taken the link-bait yet.

Well, for example some people say you should "lurk" in a forum for a period to get to know all about the community before you dare to start posting, so you don't make any social errors. They used to say for at least three months or more! My advice is to jump right in :- ) Thanks for the stumble.

Its interesting you say that, Robert. I have just joined several education forums but feel much too intimidated to jump right in. i'd have to feel i had something really important to say before i said anything.

Just wanted to update you - I'm taking a break from the challenge right now. I have an insane amount of work piling up and just getting my posts written is a lot right now. I have spent SO much time working on improving my blog anyway, but just not according to the actual steps. I'll be checking back and following your progress - sorry I have to bail :-( The reality just is that I need to make sure I get my PAID work done first! Good luck to everyone and I'll still be reading your blogs.................

Hello all, looking for an early childhood forum/wiki/ning to join as part of task 3. An actual Kindergarten forum would be even better, anyone know of any out there. My google search was unsuccessful and the twitterland did not bear fruit.
